Urs Tanner, CEO
Urs is one of the founders and the CEO of Assentis Technologies AG. He is also responsible for product management and strategic alliances. Prior to his current position, Urs was the CEO of an e-Business service company in Central Europe. In addition he served as chairman of the board for the Central European distributors of Excelon Corp. (today Sonic Software), Datajunction (today Pervasive) and Kintana Inc. (today Hewlett Packard). Urs holds a federal diploma in economics and computer sciences.

Andreas Ludwig (Ph.D.), VP Sales & Marketing
Computational Linguist by training, Andreas Ludwig acts as the VP of sales and marketing. Before he co-founded Assentis, he served 12 years in the IT industry as a project manager, consultant and business unit manager. During most of this time, he built up and managed a systems integration business for output and document management solutions for Xerox Switzerland.

Christian Kriebel (Ph.D.), VP Engineering
Bringing over 15 years of experience in information technology and management industry, Christian is the VP of engineering of Assentis Technologies. Prior to his current position, he was a principal IT consultant in different industries, such as transport, private banking, healthcare and insurance. Christian is the chief technical architect of all Assentis products and manages the Assentis software development team. He holds a Ph.D from the university of Halle in Germany.

Ralph Walter, VP Professional Services
As the VP Professional Services of Assentis Technologies Ralph is responsible for integration services, training, support and consulting. Before joining Assentis Technologies, he was the CTO of an international B2B startup in the reinsurance industry sector. Ralph looks back to a long career with Accenture as a manager in IT consulting and integration with a focus on financial services industry companies. He started his professional career 15 years ago as a free-lance programmer. Ralph holds a masters degree in computer science and economics from the University of Berne.

Mark Peters – Director US Operations
Mark Peters has over 20 years selling technology products and services in both semiconductor and software industries. Mr. Peters is currently the Director of US Operations for Assentis Technologies Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Assentis Technologies AG.  Assentis is the market-leader for business communications software.  Prior to joining Assentis Mr. Peters was one of the founders of Xcential, a software services firm focused developing applications enabling local, state and federal governments to create, manage/amend and deliver legislative and regulatory code to their constituents.  At Xcential, Mr. Peters was responsible for Sales, Marketing & Strategic Alliances Prior to Xcential, Peters was Director of Sales for Chrystal Software and held a similar position at Lightspeed Software. He was responsible for selling content management solutions to a number of verticals including government, aerospace and e-learning. Prior to Chrystal, Mr. Peters spent eight years in the semiconductor business selling capital equipment to the Tier 1 Fabrication facilities throughout the United States. Mr. Peters has a Bachelor of Arts, Economics from California State University, Fullerton.
