A single letter or mailings, contracts, reports etc. - you create every document in a web browser without any special plugin. Assentis:DocWrite is a web-based document editor with the flexibility of well-known text processors but with the data and security of backend business applications. Assentis:DocWrite combines the individual desk-top world with the transaction-oriented back-end world.

When you create mailings, you use Assentis:DocWrite as an editor for your correspondence and the mail-merge functions.

Editing Structered Data and Context-Sensitive Suggestions for Letters Users edit structured business data or they amend and verify data from back-end
systems in the formview of Assentis:DocWrite. A suggestion of the ready document appears in the preview area where users can still edit paragraphs in full WYSIWYG mode. The rules for generating and displaying a document are defined in the document template, The template also defines which content can or cannot be edited. A document template is designed using Assentis:DocDesign.

The document view of Assentis:DocWrite enables users to edit paragraphs, choose and insert data variables in free-text paragraphs, or enter text building blocks. Moreover, defining the rules for mailings is also possible.
