DocRepo Document templates, text modules, any other resources like signatures, logos, graphics, images, tables, etc., and processing rules can be stored and maintained using Assentis:DocRepo. Moreover, DocRepo manages the version history of and the access rights to all these resources. An administrator or super-user with the appropriate access rights uses Assentis:DocAdmin in order to administer the content of Assentis:DocRepo. Assentis:DocRepo is particularly important when it comes to enterprise-wide document template desgin and production. Several template designers distributed in the enterprise access Assentis:DocRepo and hence may draw on the same resources. This enables enterprises to enforce their corporate design. Assentis:DocRepo stores user access rights and access to all workspaces. This includes run-time access rights to DocWrite applications and documents that a user wants to edit. Moreover, access rights are maintained for different deployment stages in the design, test, and production environments.
