Companies increasingly save costs through more efficient Output Management Solution. Rotkreuz, Switzerland, August 14th, 2009: Despite the recent crisis, Assentis Technologies AG increases sales. In the first half-year of 2009, the company recorded increased sales by about 40 percent in contrast to the same period in the previous year. The Output Management provider from Switzerland obtained a disproportionately strong growth in Germany, with its software suite: DocFamily. The DocFamily suite enables companies design, produce, distribute, and publish personalized and dynamic documents. In Germany as well as in Switzerland, Assentis won well-known new customers within the banking and insurance industries. The company was also successful in USA, Austria and Benelux. Because of this high growth, Assentis added new employees; taking the count to about 60 personnel. Together with its certified Partner-Companies, it totals more than 120 personnel. Interest in particular, in the intuitively usable and clear text module, DocWrite, served via a web browser, contributed to the success, during the first half of the year. Other important feature appreciated by customers, was white-space-marketing within electronic documents. With white-space-marketing, targeted advertising messages are easily inserted into transactional documents, enabling a personalized message reach the recipient directly while appealing to him personally. It is thereby, better perceived by the recipient, while saving the enterprise huge costs associated with expensive marketing flyers. The Output Management specialist expects the strong growth to continue in second half of the year,. "We already feel that the economy is slowly recovering. With the steady decline of the recession, we look forward to a further increase in sales", said Urs Tanner, CEO of Assentis. Since April of this year, DocFamily is the only Output Management solution with a certified interface to the core banking system, Avaloq.
