DocDesign

With Assentis:DocDesign, users can layout and create all sorts of documents. Assembly of a new document is simply accomplished by choosing from a document resource pool the required modules such as headers, footers, address blocks, listings, tables, text modules or graphics. Users can link specific XML data source to the document template and publish it with dynamically inserted
XML data.

Assentis:DocDesign utilizes mouse directed "Drag & Drop" operations to speed and simplify the design process. Finally users can direct the output of the document to a variety of different formats such as PDF, Postscript, PCL, AFP, XHTML, or RTF. A debugging mode exists to help you in correcting unwanted effects.

With Assentis:DocDesign, you can also define rules for how a document should be processed for a specific output channel. This feature not only defines parameters such as printer trays, but also mark-ups and indices for the following post-processing functions.

Assentis:DocDesign provides you with a fully featured document design,
editing and publishing solution based on XML data and the XSLT/XSL-FO
standards.
